Afon Edw - Cregrina to Wye Confluence (Cregrina to Wye Confluence) - a moderately easy Wye tributary.
Afon Garw (Ogmore tributary)
Afon Grwyne Fawr - Grwyne Fawr Reservoir to the Usk (Grwyne Fawr Reservoir to the Usk) - exciting Usk tributary.
Afon Hepste - Worth the slog to get to it. (photos)
Afon Honddu - Usk trib, finishes with an urban gorge!
Afon Irfon - Camddwr Bleiddiad Gorge to Llanwrtyd Wells - a little paddled mid-Wales gem. (photos)
Afon Mellte - a waterfall extravaganza (or take your boat walking for a day). (photos)
Afon Nedd Fechan - a great spate run near to the Hepste and Mellte. (photos)
Afon Nyfer - a grade 3 spate tree ditch near Newport, with a harder top section.
Afon Rhondda Fach - an easier warmup before the Rhondda Fawr.
Afon Rhondda Fawr - Porth to Hopkinstown (Porth to Hopkinstown)- a possibly unique urban big water experience! (photos)
Afon Sawdde - Llwynfron to Three Horseshoes Pub (Llwynfron to Three Horseshoes Pub) - a good addition to the lower Sawdde gorge. (photos)
Afon Sawdde - Three Horseshoes Pub to River Tywi (three Horseshoes Pub to River Twyi confluence) - a lovely little gorge. (photos)
Afon Taff Fechan - the raging river of Merthyr Tydfil. (photos)
Afon Tarell - grade 3 Usk tributary.
Afon Tawe - Glyntawe to Abercraf (Glyntawe to Abercraf) - the opposite of the upper section, but still great!
Afon Teifi - Llandysul to Cenarth Falls (Llandysul to Cenarth Falls) - a pleasant flatwater trip with a (very) few harder rapids or portages.
Afon Twrch - another boat-carry...but worth it if it's been raining!
Afon Tywi - Above Llyn Brianne (Above Llyn Brianne) - remote exploratory paddle!
Afon Tywi - Llyn Brianne Dam to Junction Pool (Llyn Brianne to Junction Pool) - classic Welsh grade 4 pool drop. (photos)
Afon Ysgir (Pont Faen to Pont ar Ysgir) - Usk tributary. (photos)
Afon Ystwyth - Blaenycwm Farm to Cwmystwyth Bridge (Blaenycwm Farm to Cwmystwyth Bridge) - grade 3-4.
Cwm Du - a short grade 3-4.
Nant Clydach - a short difficult gorge near Pontypridd. (photos)
River Wye - Llangurig to Rhayader (Llangurig to Rhayader) - a classic section of grade 3-4 paddling. (photos)
Upper Clydach (Tawe tributary) - short grade 4 blast at Pontardawe.

Very Dificult / Extream Whitewater

Afon Diliw - Afon Ystwyth tributary (Ystwyth tributary) - walk-in with hard gorge.
Afon Marteg - tributary of the Wye with access problems.
