Easy White Water / Touring River

Title
River Arkaig - an easy and scenic bimble with one big water grade 4.
River Awe - a dam released easy river...
River Coe - Glencoe Visitor Centre to Loch Leven - short scenic trip with a nasty portage.
River Leven - Loch Lomond to Clyde Confluence (Loch Lomond to Clyde Confluence) - post-industrial touring.
River Lochy - Ben Nevis - a long trip in the shadow of Ben Nevis.
River Nevis - Polldubh Falls to Fort William (Polldubh Falls to Fort William) - rather more mellow than the upper section.
River Orchy - Upper Section (Loch Tulla to Bridge of Orchy) - a good training trip.
River Ossian - an easy but remote paddle.
River Pean - remote walk-in.
River Spean - Roybridge to Spean Bridge (Roybridge to Spean Bridge) - the easiest section of the Spean.

Intermediate / Advanced Whitewater

Title
Allt a' Chaorainn - a water park in Glen Etive? More bizarre fun than should be legal
Allt Cam Ghlinne - spate ditch at the top of Glen Etive.
Allt Camgharaidh - A mini adventure at the wrong end of Loch Arkaig (grade 4(5))
Allt Cheanna Mhuir - slabs and slides near Loch Arkaig.
Allt Dearg Mor/Sligachan - a short bouncy grade four on Skye
Allt Ionndrainn - enhances a trip on the Roy.
Allt Kinglass - an Orchy tributary which enhances an Orchy trip.
Allt nan Giuthas - a Glen Etive ditch with a surprisingly excellent grade 4 section
An t-Suileag (Fassfern) - spate bedrock slides, west of Fort William.
Douglas Water - a short trip near Loch Lomond with a scary waterfall.
River Coe - Loch Achtriochtan to Glencoe Visitor Centre (Loch Achtriochtan to Glencoe Visitor Centre) - there's more to do in Glencoe than just gawp at the scenery.
River Coupall - A82 to Etive Confluence - a quick park and huck grade 4 below Buachaille Etive Mor
River Etive - Coupall confluence to Triple Falls (Upper section) - a short trip when the middle Etive is too high.
River Etive - Dalness Falls to Loch Etive (Lower section) - when the middle Etive is too high...
River Etive - Upper section to Coupall confluence (Top section) - short spate run.
River Falloch (Upper) (A82 Layby to Falls of Falloch) - for when the lower Falloch is too high.
River Garry - a reliable dam release grade 3 river...with playspots!
River Ghuilbinn - an expedition, in the UK?
River Gloy - a great intermediate trip.
River Kinglas - Rest and Be Thankfull pass to Loch Fyne - another Kinglas, this one's near Arrochar.
River Loy - a fairly easy short trip in the Great Glen.
River Loyt - Loy Tributary - a silly tributary of the Loy.
River Luss - A small continuous river that will scratch your boat.
River Orchy - Lower Section (Falls of Orchy to Dalmally Bridge) - big volume grade 2 and 3.
River Orchy - Middle Section (Bridge of Orchy to Falls of Orchy) - a classic bigger volume trip.
River Pattack - a good intermediate level trip which holds it's water well.
River Roy - Lower Section (Access Track to Roybridge) - one of the best Grade 3 trips in the UK.
River Roy - Middle (Gorge) - one of the best Grade 4 trips in the UK.
River Roy - Upper Section - a good trip for intermediates a long way up Glen Roy
River Spean - Inverlair Falls to Monessie Gorge (Inverlair Falls to Monessie Gorge) - hard and easy sections.
River Spean - Laggan Dam to Inverlair Falls (Laggan Dam to Inverlair Falls) - great big volume paddling.
River Spean - The 'Spean Gorge' (Spean Bridge to Lochy Confluence) - a superb classic gorge best done in low water.
River Truim - Falls of Truim - a one shot wonder on the A5.
River Varragill - a spate burn on the Isle of Skye.

Very Dificult / Extream Whitewater

Title
Abhainn Righ - get excited about pain? This is for you.
Abhainn Shlatach - Upper section - steep paddling near Glen Finnan.
Allt A'Bhalaich - A short steep Etive tributary.
Allt Ceitlein - one of the smaller Etive tribs.
Allt Fionn Glinnhe - known as Cresta Slabs, a rock-bash addition to the Etive.
Allt Glas Dhoire - a steep and gnarly Roy tributary.
Allt Gleann a Chaolais - extreme waterfall bashing near Glencoe.
Allt Lairig Eilde - River Coe tributary. Mountain surfing at its best.
Allt Mheuran - a masochistic addition to the Lower Etive.
Allt Mhuic - waterfall hucking near Loch Arkaig.
Allt Odhar - very steep ditch at Spean Bridge
Glean Cia-aig - a difficult Arkaig tributary...
Moy Burn - short rocky ditch falling into Loch Laggan.
River Cononish - A short steep paddle near Tyndrum.
River Etive - Dalness Falls (Dalness Falls) - short hard section.
River Etive - Triple Falls to the Allt A'Chaorainn (middle section) - the most photogenic trip in the UK?
River Falloch - Falls of Falloch to Loch Lomond (Falls of Falloch to Loch Lomond) - a big waterfall and hard gorge below.
River Falloch - Upper section to A82 Layby (Upper section to A82 Layby) - steep spate run when the lower Falloch is too high.
River Kiachnish - an incredible, full-on grade 4 paddle for when everything else gets too high!
River Leven - Lower Section to Kinlochleven (lower section to Kinlochleven) - a scary dam release paddle.
River Leven - Upper Section (upper section) - a scary dam release paddle.
River Lochy - Tyndrum - falls, falls and more falls.
River Nevis - Steall Gorge to Polldubh Falls - far more exciting than plodding up the Ben.
River Spean - Monessie Gorge to Roybridge (Monessie Gorge to Roybridge) - extreme at first, with a saner finish.
