MAJOR HAZARDS/ FALLS: Dormont Island, go river left, Old weir at Linn Mill. When approaching the get out, stay on the main river, all the way down the rapids, large eddy at the bottom and easy egress, the river left channel is inundated with trees and often shallow.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: From the putin, the river winds around bends with little whitewater. Plenty of riffles to keep interest.

After water of Ae joins, river has many bends and a lagoon. After the Creamery (Arla factory the river becomes almost motionless), marshy banks for next 7km, in slow boats this will feel like a long slog indeed, but enjoy the views!

The long flat paddle is rewards by the Dormont Island, and Linn Mill, heralded by rapids over a broken weir. Stay river left, unless you scout river right first.

Not long after the road bridge is the final rapids of this trip, which finish nicely next to the egress.

Great intro trip or touring trip.
