Sett Bridge, Nr Ruan Lanihorne (SW 8873 4217)
APPROX LENGTH: N/A
TIME NEEDED: As long as you the wave keeps going...
ACCESS HASSLES: No problems known.
WATER LEVEL INDICATORS:
Heavy rain is needed to bring the Fal up, the wave forms between mid and high tide. The wave is completely washed out at high tide.
MAJOR HAZARDS/ FALLS:
The wave is shallow you wouldn't want to capsize. I've not seen the river empty so I can't rule out any under water hazards.
In good conditions the constantly changing wave is available for a little over two hours. This spot it brilliant for carving and spinning unfortunately it's two shallow to loop or cartwheel.
Parking isn't great
