Sheryl Francis at the start in Tavistock.

Following pics from Martin Harrall.

The tricky little rapid just below the weir at the start.

A small ledge not long after the start with a nice and easy little wave.

The first of the larger steps. This one caught out one of our less experienced paddlers, giving me the opportunity to photograph the fall while he emptied his boat.

About halfway down the river where it narrows down into a series of small rock ledge rapids. This is where we stopped for some lunch.

The grade 3 rapid near the end. You can see the paddler taking a chicken shoot which I imagine is only there in good water conditions.

The little weir with the perfect surf wave, enough room for at least 4 paddlers.
