Re: Dart Levels - Now with added Twitter!
Dart & Tavy have gone big again this morning, Erme & Lower Walkham at a good level, Plym may or may not run (Yealm seems to have missed the rain).
Lyn is also high whilst South Wales rivers are already dropping.

Dart - looking at the updated EA gauge has just peaked? drop from 1.41 - 1.37 - Still big but maybe dropping - obviouslly depends on more rain. Really windy out there.

Re: Dart Levels
Washing over the slab at 12pm & with lots of rain forecast overnight means it should be a great weekend!
Re: Dart Levels
Any ideas on Upper Dart for this weekend? Is there a base flow back up or looking to be dry?

Re: Dart Levels
Looking here, I can't see any evidence of recent paddling!

Re: Dart Levels
Currently down on holiday next to the Dart and as luck would have it I've brought my paddling kit down. The weather is looking wet for tomorrow (10th August), so I was wonder if the upper dart would run? If so, would anyone be paddling it? Cheers.
Re: Dart Levels
Hello all, we're off camping in south devon this coming week (w/c 11 Aug 14), and I had really been looking forward to doing the Dart canoe trail from Stoke Gabriel on my siton (Perception Triumph 13). However, it appears the River is in full springs this week, with low tides occurring around lunchtime/early PMs. Therefore, is is safe, or even worth trying to attempt it? I fear not, but if so, is there anywhere else you could recommend?
Ta in advance,
Billy
