A recent weekend presented an opportunity to paddle this section of river which didn't disappoint.

Although an easy paddle in the water level we did it in there were some fallen trees that have both been dragged down in the floods but also strewn from where they have fallen.

Not only that as soon as the local fishermen realized we were paddling it was like they appeared on the banks to make it slightly awkward to paddle. Although no cross words were had they were making noises about us not paying to paddle on rivers and we should leave their rivers alone.

Either way a great river to paddle if you have the opportunity to do so.
