Re: Carbon Kevlar Fabric
Usually about £20/m from East Coast Fibreglass, Easycomposites or CFS. It is usually a 2+1 plain weave (2 strands of carbon and 1 kevlar in one direction, 2 kevlar and 1 carbon the other way giving a distinctive dumbell pattern), you may also find twill cloth which is 2 over 2 under in a herringbone pattern - this is much harder to handle, although it drapes around curved better when you have the hang of it. Look inside the boat to check which it is built from.

Re: Carbon Kevlar Fabric
Thanks both
IThe boat is made from weave rather than twill. Reskinning the hull as the damage/wear is more extensive than first thought.
I was hoping you guys would know somewhere a bit cheaper but £20 seems to be the going rate.
Any thoughts on peel ply v release film to get the best hull finish with minimal sanding and polishing?
