Cavers do things similar to this, but in the dark, wearing baggy suits and wellies.......

If this is the same spot that I've seen some other similar vids from, I think the 'tunnel' is quite short... I suspect this chap has swum down in to the plungepool then waited a while before coming up, for dramatic effect... but yeah looks pretty frightening!
