P&H Deck Elastic - What Size?

Post by davek »

Hi - we have a couple of Scorpios that need new deck elastics; anyone know what size we should get? Original is not in fit state to use as guide...
Thanks

SJD is correct, 5mm just fits nicely through the fittings. I recently replaced mine on the Scorpio.

6mm is also good and grips firmer, you might have to loosen the fittings to make it easier to thread. It fits easily if it is pulled out slightly thinner whilst threading or moving it along. An Ebay supplier has 6mm in an attractive black with reflective flecks and so far it looks like good quality that will last a long time.
