River Usk blockage
River Usk blockage
Be aware that the bridge at Trallong is blocked with trees and is a portage at normal level.

Re: River Usk blockage
That sounds like the kind of blockage that should be reported to NRW under the subject of "blocked main watercourses that might pose a risk of flooding". They will probably take action to clear it or get the landowner to do it.
They won't care about it being a threat to navigation or safety, only flood risk, but the fact that it almost completely blocks the river is a good demonstration of how bad it is. I'm not going to report it myself as I don't know the river and there seems to be more than one bridge in the area.

Re: River Usk blockage
It regularly collects debris & is cleared by the relevant authorities - as it also threatens the integrity of the road bridge!
Another bridge further down is a potential hazard as it is falling apart, but that is on a private estate...
