Leigh-on-Sea/Essex

Post by fredamens »

Hi all

I have been paddling for a year or so around two-tree island and along the Southend coast, sometimes venturing further afield. This year I want to really give this sport a go and improve my skills and hopefully learn to roll etc. The ultimate goal is to go away and enjoy some new scenery. That said, I have a lot to learn.

It would be great to meet up with local likeminded people to paddle with and learn from.

I have said to myself I will go out most weekends, tides and weather permitting, so if anyone is keen to meet for a paddle that would be great. Also happy to travel further afield is needs be.

Kind regards and hopefully look forward to meeting a few new people.

Fred

I've done a bit of sea kayaking on holidays in devon and Cornwall but would like to get into this sport a bit closer to home. I dont have any gear at the minute but would love to have a chat and get some advice from a local on what to get and where to get it. I used to live in Leigh and know it and the waters fairly well but Ive moved out near colchester.
