I played Polo this weekend - team training required - we lost every game :-(

Still, I've always said that its just to keep me fit so I can go on the rivers.....

I didn't play polo this weekend, which looks like a good call because without me to hold them back, my team apparently destroyed yours?

Saturday was quite intense, 2 good slalom training sessions, so I had Sunday off. Managing about 3km every week day still. Wednesday was another big one - perfect conditions for my 3km circuit in the afternoon so I did it anyway, followed by over an hour of sprint training in my WWR C1 in the evening finishing up with 20 minutes of slalom training (because I ran out of strength by then!). Normally I don't do the 3km circuit when I have evening sessions.

I might be paddling even more often than we did at University?

Five of us managed to paddle from Ross-on-Wye to Monmouth .... about 20 miles .... in sea kayaks
Canoeing - bigger boat, broken paddle, more skill!

A couple of very pleasant days on the Monnow in open canoes. Just enough water.
