I was cycling by and went to check out Newlay Weir. It has now collapsed in the middle of the channel, but looks like it would be passable. Be careful of debris as a lot of material has washed out of the weir including a lot of timber and masonry (maybe some steel too). Has anyone actually paddled down since the collapse (2021) who can provide further updates?
