A modern take on a Canadian canoe? Might be nice to paddle around somewhere idyllic and watch the fish swimming around underneath you. But I bet the underside would get scratched up quick so the visibility wouldn’t last.

That reminds me, I once was kayaking on a crystal clear lake about to do some rolling practice and as I was setting up I recoiled in horror as out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw a huge jellyfish next to the boat, translucent with whitish stripes and as big as my head. I gave myself a stern talking to - I was in the lake at Lee Valley and it was a funny shaped plastic bag that had been bleached by the chlorine.
