On a cycling forum I lurk around they have a thread called ebay monstrosities which shows some horrifically modified bikes and unbelievable home-builds. If we had such a thread on here this would have to be entered (I know it's on Gumtree not ebay, but the principles there).
it's not a playboat, it's a river runner

Looks like a Prijon Machine with rod holder and deck rigging added by someone who doesn't understand that a play boat is not suitable as a sea kayak....

Looks like they've added a Pyranha decal to make it go faster :P

As I've posted on your thread on SOTP, I think it's a Prijon Samurai, with added sea kayak features.

It is either a Prijon Wizard or Prijon Soča. I recall the hatch was in front of the cockpit on the Wizard, and thus a Prijon Soča is more probable. It is not meant to be a kayak fishing platform and as such id probably a little narrow.....

The reason I say Samurai rather than Wizard or Soča is the angle of the grab handles at the ends. Unless Prijon varied this within the same model, the Samurai is the only one with the handles fitted diagonally, rather than the more usual fore and aft alignment.

Is that the "kayak oar" on the bench?

Wizard had a square back end; machine was more angular; think it must be a samurai - they came with black cockpit rims and only that & the alien (?) seem to have had rounded ends with angled handles - does it have crossed swords decal in front of the cockpit?

I particularly like the addition of the keel. If detachable, it would make for very civilised lunch stops on the river bank. Does it come with a wicker hamper that attaches to the deck lines?

Prijon Lunchmaster?

It looks like it's some sort of dodgem kayak.

At first I was convinced it was a bastardised Prijon Alien but I think people are right with the shout of Prijon Samurai rather than the older Alien.

I so badly wanted a Samurai back in the day and I feel sorry for this poor kayak and what has become of it.

No silly, that's the scoop to empty the cockpit out when it floods at sea !!

Lots of good suggestions with sound rationales from experienced paddlers but I can definitely identify as a load of crap.
