Are Zet / Pyranha / Dagger footrest bolts compatible with Riots?

Post by Huck It »

I need to buy some footrest nuts for a Riot Magum. ASAP. I believe it's an M6 nut. I can't find official Riot spares so wondering do other manufacturers parts fit i.e. are they M6 too?

Individual lobe knobs with M6 nut are quite expensive from fixing company's. Zet spares are £4 a pair and Pyranha are about £10 for four.

Thanks in advance!!

Pretty sure Dagger in the US are still an imperial sized thread, not metric. Can't speak for licensed Dagger made in UK though.
Why not buy some regular nuts at your local DIY store...see what fits then order accordingly. Or ask Corran on FB/email.

Have you tried https://www.kayaksandpaddles.co.uk/cano ... kayaks.htm? As they still sell riot kayaks?

How old is the magnum

Most canadian made Riot boats have imperial threads, whereas I think the newer, made in china stuff uses the standard M6.

I'd say that your best bet would be to take it to yoour local canoe shop and ask them, they'll probably have a few various bolts and things for you to try..
