Looking to tag along a group of paddlers driving out to the Alps or Norway

Post by Cam » Sat May 26, 2018 11:47 pm

I am a paddler living in London, but will emigrating to Australia in July. I spent two years in NZ and paddle up to grade 4+,5-. I would like to tag along with anyone going on paddle mission to Europe. I don't have transport but I could get myself, my kit and my boat to a service station on the M25 or Dover in Kent. Happy to contribute to fuel and other costs.

Cheers,

Cameron

Kirsten Rendle and Jon Harwell (I think) were looking for numbers for an Alps trip. You should be able to find her on here or on FB. Good luck. Whereabouts in Oz are you going?

Hi Banzer, thanks for this! I have sent the friend request. I don't exactly where i'll be going, probably go to Sydney and apply for jobs there.

Hi Cameron.

I've been thinking of a last minute trip for couple of weeks around the alps from around the 20th June to 12th ish of July.
I was thinking of the Isere as it's on the to do list, followed by a few classic or other new runs.
Perhaps followed by an epic drive over to the Soca (where I know a few people paddling from 1st July).

I'm mid 30's paddler bum with a VW estate so an extra 1 ( or 2 at a squash welcome).

More or less an open invite to anyone comfortable on intermittent class IV.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the offer but I am now going out on the 1st of July with the group that Banzer mentioned above.
Again, thank you.
