I have a 21 month old Kokatat Hydrus Drysuit which is good apart from the fact that it appears to be delaminating. I have had great service from System X in the past doing various repairs on my other Kokatat kit but when I tried to log a new service request it appears they are no longer accepting new work and this is a "permanent change" and to check back next year for "details of new arrangements".
Does anyone know what is going on ? I am concerned my 2 year warranty will expire before anyone looks at it !
Andrew.

Ohh? They were about to get my leaky Hydrus sallys back for new feet. This is interesting.

Hi Folks
After over 30years supplying paddlesports gear to Europe and the UK, SystemX's owner Nick Mallabar has decided it is time to retire. SystemX will cease trading completely on 31st Jan 2025. In order that they can complete all current outstanding warranty and repair work by that time they have now closed to new work.
One of System X' current employees has agreed to form a new distribution company and will continue to represent Kokatat in the UK including all ongoing repair and warranty work. There will be a short hiatus as this new company is established after Jan 31st.
If you have concerns about warranty running out I would suggest that you contact Ant Perkins at SystemX and log your need for work. It may be that they are unable to accept the garment immediately but you will have a record of the time you contacted them which will then transition in some way to the new company.
I would doubt very much you would get a direct response from Kokatat. If they do respond it would likely be saying for you to contact SystemX. I sell Kokatat garments and I've never spoken to any person from Kokatat and I deal with their kit on a daily basis.
Please do have patience, the situation will resolve itself.
