recommendations for drysuit repair?

Post by on the rocks »

My Peak drysuit has developed one or more leaks and needs a pressure test and repairs.
Can anyone recommend a company to do this for me?
Thanks

As it's a Peak drysuit, PeakUK would seem the obvious choice - they do repairs & servicing on their own products (I don't know about anybody else's) at their Darley Dale HQ. It's been my experience that their customer service is excellent.

In the beforetime you could have just dropped in to their factory shop on spec any time it was open, these days if you were planning to drop it off in person you should give them a call first.

The Rubber Man has always been my go to.

Always a good job and very quick turnaround time.

I agree with what you say about Rubberman. But his website currently says:
12/09/2021 - I will be closed for a short time as I have broken my collar bone! I will keep you updated on these pages. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Advice was "this drysuit sent for repair assessment isn't worth the postage back to you"!

Plus a recommendation on what to buy.

Typhoon did a great job on my ageing Kokatat dry suit and can also give another nod to Rubberman who repaired a friend's dry suit just a week ago.
