I meant to write a guide for this for the new guide book, but forgot... really fun river. The section above the fall is worth the walk, more of the same as below the fall. Like you have said, its a great paddle to do before the Talladale, both of which take loads of water to come in to condition. The Hydro doesn't really effect the run either.
