Wanted: Cheapish Wavehopper

Post by littleyellowente » Fri Oct 05, 2018 11:33 am

Hi

I am looking for a cheapish Wavehopper WWR, to introduce some of our younger marathon paddlers to river racing.

Please let me know if you have anything gathering dust

Cheers Andy

Honestly, I would have a chat with British Canoeing, they could probably sort out one for you to borrow for a bit to introduce some paddlers

Several avenues to explore...

If you are looking for a small fleet to have permanently (I mean, you do want the kids to be able to race each other in them?) the RN still have some wavehoppers for sale - I was talking to the person responsible for them yesterday!

If you just want some boats on loan for development purposes, the WWR exec may have some available - they may all be out on loan already though. There is a pretty active wavehopper racing series!

If you just want to buy one or 2 boats try joining the facebook group 'Wild water racing for fun' and asking there - also if you cant find direct contact details for the WWR exec, I think they all read that group...
