The tree 500m above the lunch/wave spot is still there. A portage at today's high levels.

if this is the tree, you can pass under on river right at lower levels, then there is now two trunks just below water where you would pass. paddled yesterday (31st jan) at about 0.9 on guague, and we couldnt see trunks until we portaged.recommend you portage until its cleared.

River Barle - Dulverton to Exebridge.
500m downstream of the Dulverton road bridge there is a river wide tree (where the overhead pipe is).
It was reported by a local who has also informed the national park rangers.

Couple of impressive trees stuck on Marsh Bridge, but all 3 arches are still passable. If you are above Tarr Steps be aware of the tree catcher cables not far upstream (can be paddled under at low to medium levels). There are a few more on the banks elsewhere that could swing out into the flow, so do be aware.

Tree fallen right across the Barle by the caravan park at Dulverton. Not passable at 0.77 on Saturday 13th October
