Sometimes it doesn't go plan...

Post by Philip Mitchell »

Sometimes things don't go to plan.

If you would like to see how I broke my back and are semi interested into what's involved in bouncing back from an injury like this then feel free to give the video below 3 minutes of your time. ... -setbacks/

good on ya.
Never stop fighting.

I was am pro cycling and go crohns. totally stuffed my life up at 20 its a massive shock
I now have pernicious anemia, Axial arthritis, I dont absorb iron at all and now to add insult Im gluten intollerant. and suffer from chronic fatigue.
for years I had no energy at all but wouldn't give up.
Two years ago I took up paddling as I thought, light exersize and flat water on the canal.
that was two years ago.
Now Im paddling grade 3 confidently. I can mile crunch cycling. and have lost the podge so after 20 years of fighting I'm living again.

Well done to Sam, Si and Daz for getting Phil safe and the Swaledale RT, great effort all round.
