We paddled this on Saturday 18th May 2013- One fence required portage while we could paddle over the first fence. Within about 300m of the fence portage there is a shoot which has a tree across it- this was passable but its probably worth having a look at- the drop mentioned in the guide follows it after about 50m so you can inspect both at the same time. The rest of the run down to the Wharfe was clear. (level guide the Wharfe was at about 1.1m).
