Tree on Easter Ross Carron mid section
One of last drops on the mid section of the Easter Ross Carron has a tree wedged in it. It is possible to paddle by this. Immediately below this obvious tree a large branch is wedged under water. This will not be a problem to any upright paddlers, but is a definite hazard to any swimmers. i.e. if you flip because of the first tree then beware. It lies on the ledge above the last twisting drop. A rapid where the main channel is hard left against the wall.
A/WWSR 4/5star (river & sea) with the best!
