Hi all,
Looking for a regular paddling buddy in North Yorkshire, around the Ure and Nidd mostly. I am pretty confident on flat water and accheived BCU 2* award (in my teens, so a while ago), I would love to have a go on some rapids and learn to roll if anyone is willing to take me under their wing.

Hi Rich
Have you joined a club? Not sure where you're based but Dales CC do pool sessions in the winter and easy river trips in the summer, and I'm sure other clubs do the same. That's probably your best bet. I'd happily take you down some grade 2/3 when you're reasonably confident at that level.
