East Sussex

Post by Mickkee »

Hi all..
I've started up kayaking again after some years.. I'm located near Lewes. I've been doing a lot on the river ouse between barcombe mills and isfield but more happy to try else where if anyone wants to join up.
Thanks
Ollie

Hi Ollie
im in seaford, I have done the barcombe route north and roughed it on the Uck as well.
I work in chailey so its an easy run after work especially now we have the weather.
I have a few spare kayaks and trying to get mates involved but they aren't that keen, light weights.
I also do the entry at southease, north or south depending on tides of course, I would like to get up to lewes and stop for a beer and return on the departing tide but apart from the Tesco entry I cant see many easy points of exit. I recently did 28km return trip just past beachy head and found a great secluded beach to camp on.
ive got a week off in september to go further afield, see my other post, paddle and camp...
pm me and I will pass you my mobile number.
Cheers
