New to UKRGB

Post by outdoordan » Sun Jul 23, 2017 6:52 pm

Hi all.

Dan, formerly of many many places, now installed near Abergavenny.

I used to do a bit of paddling back in the 90's.

Considering getting back in a boat after a long lay off. Surfing, creek running and generally not taking things too seriously.

Anyway. Just thought I'd say hello.

Last time I got in a boat (2008 after a six year break) I could still roll both sides and scull reasonoably well on my good side... It's going to be interesting to see if I can get the old mojo back.

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan, there is a canoe/kayak club in Abergavenny. We are 3 years old as a club. Welcome to contact us. We do river trips obviously! Pool sessions up in Ebbw Vale pool in the winter. In the summer on the river, canal, Keeper's Pond. This Wednesday we are meeting at the Yat. Welcome to join us.

Anything going on at weekends?

Hi Dan, check out the website / facebook. Nothing much on now due to summer holidays. Club is up in north Wales September, when it rains out at weekends.
Also an Alps trip next summer.
