Old salt but new boat.

Post by KAyakANNek1e » Mon Jul 04, 2016 7:58 am

Hello. I have used kayaks off an on all my life but mostly sailed my own boat. Although I still keep a modest yacht (floating caravan!) on the North Norfolk coast I have felt it difficult to find the opportunities to use it. I used the kayak to get to the mooring and discovered the smaller the boat the more you use it is true. In the last month I have used my SOT Tootega Sector and Pulse almost every day and have felt the benefits. Although my sons will no doubt join me occaisionally I wondered if there are any other adults who are not toooo serious about their paddling (no anoraks please) who just like mucking about maybe a `safe` trip along the coast from time to time in company Ialso may try my hand at catching my tea. I am still yet to fully explore the North Norfolk swatchways west of Blakeney. I work part-time now and have hit 60 but there is plenty of life left in me. My area is the anywhere along the Norfolk coast but I can access the Broads very easy as well.
