South Lakes Clubs/Groups

Post by Yorkie_Matt91 » Sat Aug 22, 2015 3:53 pm

Hi,

I've recently moved to Cumbria (Ulverston area) and I am looking to join a kayak club or find people to get out and about with. I'm not interested in competition paddling - whitewater kayak and canoe is more my thing! I've paddled grade IV/IV+ in the past, both in UK and Europe, but have had a few years off so I might be a bit rusty!

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Cheers,
Matt.

Hi Matt,

Can thoroughly recommend Duddon Canoe club. Club nights are on a Friday at the docks in Barrow. Drop me a message if you have any questions.

Jamie
