Welcome back :)

Always pleased to see people joining (or rejoining) the sport.

Drop me a line if you are ever in the south east and want to check out a few of the Thames playboating weirs.

Cheers,
Colin

No worries bud, always pleased to go paddling :)

Just drop me a PM on here when you're ready and we'll arrange it.

Hurley on two gates would be a good start; big enough to be worth while doing and a fantastic playwave, but nice and safe - all that lurks downstream is a wave train (good rolling practice - but that might just be me!) then flat water.

Sounds like a plan to me mate :D
I always fancied Hurley when I was up north, it was just too far away.
Not anymore though!! It's still a fair way but sounds worth a day out.
I've not paddled any rivers down here yet but apparently dartmoor and South Wales is worth a bash. I'll keep you informed anyway mate, cheers!
