WANTED: WW Paddles

Post by DanMyers » Thu Mar 22, 2018 9:27 am

Hi all,

After years of borrowing club paddles, I've decided that its about time to invest in my own. Will consider most things but the sort of paddle I'm after is a Sherpa (or equivalent). I'm 6 foot so looking at around the 197+ length. Anyone got anything for sale?

Also, can anyone vouch for the carbon paddles ainsworth sell? I've used their ABS but have yet to see anyone use the carbon versions, (is there a reason for this?). Interested in any and all advice on white water paddles.

Cheers,

DM

Hi DM

I have a fabulous Mitchell Jaguar paddle 197 for sale, only ever used it twice in the pool so it's like new. looking for £170 for it if your interested, great paddle. I used an Ainsworth for many years but was blown away by the Jaguar blades but have sadly had to give up on ww paddling so selling off my kit.

message me on 07973714964 for pics etc if your interested.

Based nr Selby

Cheers

I have an Adventure Technology (AT) Geronimo 196cm, RH Straight shaft, 30deg feather - I'm 6'3" and have been fine with it, just going to cranked so up for sale - £180 ono.

Or about to advertise a 200cm Werner which has been extended (from a 197), re-set at zero feather and Kevlar professionally taped edges - super solid paddle in great condition - £170 ono

I've had a couple of Ainsworth carbon paddles, loved them and the shape but the blades are very thin and delicate and the edge wear on both was woeful.
