I think you might get a better response if you give people a bit more information. One man's big guy is another man's decidedly average.

Anything in particular you need, or just any drysuit and buoyancy aid? What sort of budget are you looking at?

OK I'm a touch under 6ft, 51+" chest, 30" inside leg, 36" waist(if I breath in). Bodybuilder. No steroids so not stupidly massive. I tried on a cheap Gul buoyancy aid just to check what their idea of xl was and couldn't even fit in it, then I tried on a Gul gamma(?) drysuit, again, just to see if I fit and I couldn't get my second arm in a large. Budget is as cheap as humanly possible as I'm out of work at the moment. Anyone know if the Gul gamma is an OK drysuit for kayaking? It looks pretty well constructed and I also need it for on my dads yacht.

I have a Kokatat Maximus Xl/XXL - I'm 6'3" and 46" chest and have the straps sinched right up so loads more room.

Just upgraded to the maximus Prime in a smaller size, so now surplus to requirements, only 3 months old, still like new, it's done maybe 5 rivers. Looking for £50 + postage

I tried that Peak XXL drysuit - It's F'in huge! I'm 6'3" and it swamped me - need to be around 6'6" and up I reckon. Have a look at Typhoon Multi-sport, they do their sizes in a wide fitting to allow for broad shoulders.

I have a palm cascade suit in xxl (red) genuinely only used once - not even by me I'm too tall for it at 6'6+ but my mate who used it is 6'2" and very big build (rugby player) and fitted him fine . £160 posted
