This is an "old school" Thermarest, seriously large, it measures 194cm x 65 x 5. Other than one properly repaired puncture, it's perfect and of course the Thermarest lifetime guarantee is legendary. Stored with the valve open, it self-inflates fine and holds air perfectly. Bag included. No idea of the R rating. What I can tell you is that I used this as my preferred mattress of choice back in my Land Rovering and Scouting days for winter camping. Usually on snow. And it was grand.
