Bought brand new from Alpacka rafts in Colorado. Has all the added extras with no cost spared, cost over £1550.
Packs down to the size or a 2 man tent, handles very well in white water. Can carry 2 people of flat water or carry bikes and extra bags. Comfy with inflatable seat and back rest.
Been on the water 12 times in Alaska and BC. Its an incredible piece of equipment, not been used now since back to the UK so up for sale. In perfect condition no marks on underside, been well looked after.
If you aren't aware of Packrafts then go to the Alpacka raft website and do some searching on the web.
They are awesome fun and you can't buy in the UK. Not cheap though so try a cheap vinyl raft first if you aren't sure.
Please note, this is not a toy. Packrafts are serious pieces of wilderness equipment and remarkably tough boats, capable of whitewater. They are hand made specialist boats- hence the price.
The Denali Llama is our largest all-purpose / whitewater-style raft. It is 4.5 inches (0.11 meters) longer than the Yak, allowing for larger packs and longer legs. People taller than 6 feet (1.88 meters) generally find it the best size for whitewater and general-purpose boating.
Two-Person Fords, & Ferries: The Llama has plenty of flotation for two people on a short crossing, as long as you don't mind getting cozy. For this reason, we recommend the Llama as an option for couples or small groups who want to do calm river fording or limited flatwater crossings. A single paddler can ferry all the packs and travelers, one passenger at a time. This technique allows groups to safely cross water obstacles with minimal equipments.
Whole package on sale for £950 can ship to anywhere in the UK with postage.
£950 is what I want for the boat, paddle, sail, and all the extras. I don't think this is unreasonable considering how rare they are in this country. Alpacka rafts do tend to hold their value as they are such a specialist piece of equipment. Just look at the American packrafting forum and you will see
