As long as you arrive early-ish they won't have any issues with driving onto the quay to drop boats off first.blurpup wrote:I'm heading over to the Scilly Isles in the summer. Can anyone recommend where to leave my vehicle?
I don't mind paying for a good secure location. Ideally not too far away as I will be taking boats as well.
Being a cheapskate and not loving my car, we took the risk of just parking on the front to the west of the quay. I found a space closer than the car park, but that was just good fortune. Others used IOS and were happy.

I would not worry about it, IOS Parking clean it all off for you and it won't be there long enough to start corroding your paintwork. If you are really worried about it give your car an extra coat of wax before you go away.blurpup wrote:Thanks - good point re: seagulls. I'll get indoor parking then...
