Lundy is way cool. Climbed there years ago and really must go back.

Another one that's been on my list to get to. I sailed there on a Tall Ship as a teenager, a little young to appreciate it properly then though.

It's on my door step, I live in westward Ho! Finally paddled it this year. Woolacombe-lundy. Lundy-Hartland. Was a real privilege to put my name it what is a who's who of British seakayaking. Love that rock...... now to do it solo.

Bizarrely enough I had a phone conversation today revolving around the practicality of Davina McCall paddling to Lundy.

A TV researcher was assessing the viability of including a sea paddling component (based in the Bristol Channel) in some kind of journey across the UK for Sport Relief in January. I was quite enthusiastic and positive about the idea, but once he appreciated the dim likelihood of D McC being able to make a serious open crossing on a pre-set and immovable Winter date during Spring tides with minimal prior training, I think his interest waned a bit.
