There are some fairly sizable lumps in this one.

Oh - just remembered a nice tube shot in my local rivermouth. Tubes are crazy difficult on a ski/kayak, anyone who says they ain't is full of it. We're not talking cover-up, were talking tube, for sooooooooo many reasons that challenges/limits a us. As a stand-up surfer too, it is a million times easier on a stand up!

Hi It pretty difficult to get hold of barrel rides on video as not many folk are doing it. And when they do there is no camera around. Its well overdue though. We've had airs now we need to see big barrels I reckon. There are a few split second efforts on this clip around 440 and afterwards. Another video is goatmania. It has some good barrels on it. Its difficult to get hold of though. Dates back about 10 years ago, its australian waveskiers at some pretty sketchy looking spots. Not sure what will turn up if you do a google search for goat mania, be careful!

Some decent size waves, massive airs and a decent Barrel (at about 2.43) in this one.

I agree with Paddy W, Beyond the Limits is an awsome video with some fantastic surfing and is also very good for demonstrating techniques for different manouvers on the wave face, get yourself a copy and you will not be dissapointed my copy is just about worn out.

Ahhhh Beyond the Limits, a bit dated but brilliant. John Christensen was a straight up genius and damn good bloke - surfed against him at a Contest in Oz - the Dee Why open in 89, is was just 19! He ripped. Got to the semi's and he was the only one doing real airs and making em. Still got the contest bib he gave me! (after he won). Mind you - his beard was nasty. Gateway to Sorga is still about as good as it gets too.

Jonny.... also in Plymouth

Aye Beyond the Limits is a pure spangled 80's waveski classic. skis with no rocker at all surfing Pipe and Sunset. goat Mania is 95 I think its Christo's second movie. Boards are the good christo shape-short tail and double concave. My mate burnt it from vhs to disk for me. Its as inspiring as any new film.
