Starlink Train

Post by Apple Tree »

Just finished a 4 day trip paddling around Loch Etive. Last night I decided to do a night paddle (evening), as I knew where to go to find another camp spot. I'm a regular here.

Whilst out in the middle of the Loch, no clouds and mirror waters, the Starlink Train went over. Absolutely STUNNING.

I had no reception, so I have just found out what it was.

Wow yeah that must have been lovely! I was hoping to paddle on Loch Etive again myself when I was in Scotland a few weeks ago, but sadly the weather wasn't co-operating, as the loch would have been a total wind tunnel. I'm a bit envious of your four day trip as I love that area :)

I think there is a good video online - some woman with a strange paddle, camping on Etive...
