Just a quick "thank-you" to the folks at Belfield Software http://www.chartsandtides.co.uk/
I've used Belfield chart plotter for years on the PC to help plan routes etc. but having finally abandoned Windows move to Widows 10, I couldn't re-intall the application as I had "exceeded the activation limit".
I e-mailed Belfield at about a quarter to seven last night and asked if there was any way round this - and had a new activation code sent to me within the hour.
Excellent service - and a very useful software tool, particularly with the tidal flow arrows giving speed and direction info on tidal flows at any particular date and time.
It will also take AIS and GPS input to turn a laptop into a "proper" chart plotter - but maybe not in the Kayak.....

Nice one. Good to hear they were decent with you. I am thinking about getting an inexpensive tablet and sticking it a couple of dry cases onto my spraydeck.
