Show us the best sea kayaking photo you've taken...
What's the best sea kayaking photo you've taken? Here's mine, which I took of my pal Tony at Bantham, Devon. I used a Sony DSC U-60, purchased on the advice of Douglas W.

I’ve got so many favourites, but this one brings back fond memories from Arisaig, the week before going to the Scottish Sea Kayak Symposium.

This year? I guess so from the sunshine and the beautiful blue skies.Northern Blue wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 1:00 pmI’ve got so many favourites, but this one brings back fond memories from Arisaig, the week before going to the Scottish Sea Kayak Symposium.
I was there too. Had a lovely trip out from Arisaig after the symposium, perhaps the same one you did beforehand. While you were here, I was pottering around Loch Nevis with an overnight stop at Inverie. (I didn't bother with the pub.)
A disappointingly out of focus photo, but a treasured memory... The second day after the symposium, heading back towards Arisaig on yet another beautiful sunny morning that week, I caught a flash of movement in the corner of my eye. As I sat there wondering what I'd almost seen a curious little juvenile otter face popped up from behind a rock and we spent a few seconds sitting there looking at each other. Just magical.

I really hate to spoil a wonderful memory, but that's a mink. Sorry!

Please don't feel silly. They're extremely mischievous animals. David Attenborough once had to dump an entire BBC wildlife series devoted to "meerkats" on the cutting room floor.
Mink are now banned from the BBC.

Have fun and don't die.

Hello,
I just wanted to throw in my 10 pence! My paddle water is not so dramatic like the ones in the British Isles, but here they are:
One of myself on tour with a friend in July 2017
One with my two sons in September 2016
Sincerely
Tom the Dane

A collapsed sea cave on the Beecroft Peninsula, about 150km south of Sydney, on one of the rare days you can get close.

Donegal, Ireland in 2017. Somewhere on the return journey from Owey Island.

Lots, but I'll pick out this one for being more unusual. (Andy already beat me to it with the first drone photo, however!) Just off Warbarrow Bay, Dorset.

Quite like this one on Loch Nevis, though technically its an open canoeing photo as that's what I'm in :)

And a little later on:

I’m not sure if it’s the best one but this photo which I took last summer off north coast of Iceland is my favourite.

Cunningly and stunningly solves the perennial "horizon line through head" problem!

I've taken many nice pictures earlier in the summer but I believe this one is also great. The Mikly way as seen from our camping spot with 0 light pollution in south Crete, Greece earlier in September.
