Fresh water - Treshnish Isles

Hi

Heading up to Mull for week and hoping to camp on Lunga. I know this used to be inhabited so am assuming there's fresh water there.
Can anyone confirm this please and where it is.

Thanks

Fozzy

Hi Fozzy lovely spot, take your own water. The former inhabitants captured rain/surface water in channels. There are so many birds there at this time of year that any surface pools you find will be heavily contaminated.

Enjoy your visit.

Thank you Fozzy, I used that photo because the razorbill and puffin were perched above one of the old water collecting channels! The Treshnish Isles are a truly wonderful spot...

...especially if you can camp and...

...watch the sun go down after the tourists have left...

...leaving you with only the birds for company. This puffin perched on my foot but my lens would not focus that close.

It will be one of the first places I will try and go back to when my health improves.

Hi fozzy
I’m going to mull again tonight 11/5/18 for a weeks kayaking /wild camping
I stayed on lunga two years ago you definitely need to take your own water, I have at least 8 litres in my boat at any time,

Enjoy
