He's a LUCKY LUCKY lad

Re the 22 year old lad who survived at sea for 32 hours. It certainly makes you want to put your £ in the RNLI tin.
Surfers and sea kayakers face the same formidable adversaries, wind and tides. His interview was very humbling and real lump in the throat stuff, an amazing survival and rescue story.
We can speculate about what might have contributed to the event but the outcome overshadows any such discussions.
So, hats off to the coastguard and RNLI for finding this very lucky lad and saving his life. VHF ch16 is such a cosy place.
