Jackson Antix in the surf

Post by Burnie44 » Mon May 07, 2018 11:19 pm

Hi, I am thinking of buying a new Jackson Antix, and will be using it in the surf a fair bit. My weight is 83kgs which is top of the medium weight range and bottom of the large range.Which size would be better for me in the surf? Also has anyone tried the Pyranha Ripper in the surf? Thanks.

My gut feeling is that the ripper will be better, as it's got harder rails in the midsection and stern.

If you're looking for a tailsquirting river runner for the surf, I feel your best bet might be the Soul Gonzo, just look at those rails!

Yes those Soul Waterman boats look great but I don't think we can get them here in Australia. The Ripper looks like it would be faster than the Antix.
