Hi thanks for posting the pictures, I had a P&H mark 2 surfer when they were a current model .
A few years ago I picked up a Moccasin in really good condition and love surfing it as it picks up on the
slightest swell. However at about the same time I also picked up an old P&H wave ski (remembering them from brochures)
Whilst the Moccasin has stood the test of time fairly well the P&H wave ski was resold after just one paddle.
I fear that even in its day it would have been a disappointment.
Amongst your old catalogue photos you wouldn't happen to have anything on a VCP Skeet (wave ski) ?

Thanks Mike

Sorry Mike, I've only got the one VCP catalogue and it's not in there.

The Surfer Mk II has a max weight of 12 stone........ That would be why I can't even get into the one I have in the garage :-)

I only ever had one surf kayak, and I can't remember what it was - it was over 35 years ago.

Thanks for the magazine link Paddy - browsing through that brought back a lot of memories.
