They are a very rare beast to find in UK waters.

They were always popular with the Basque and Portuguese paddlers so I am used to seeing them at international competitions but I don't think I have ever seen one in the wild back in Blighty

Thanks for the reply.
I liked the look and the option to have fins in/out.
Plus the cockpit outfitting looked very good.
Didn’t want to buy without sitting in one, plus was unsure of fees incurred for getting one sent here.

Went for a Hobson Apex instead :)

Very good choice. The 666 is a pretty old design now and things have definitely improved.
The Apex looks to be a truly awesome boat. I hope you have a lot of fun with it.
