foot rests..

Post by GEOFF S »

Hi
I've bought a s/h Mega Neutron and it has a selection of foam blocks shoved into the foot area which kind of
just do the job but aren't great.
Can anyone suggest what to replace them with ? And where to get ?
I've looked at Mega and they sell a selection of foam blocks - possibly what's already in the boat.

thanks

Jackson Happy Feet. You may have to dig out a gap in the centre pillar of the boat to fit them, but they are fab. Use them in my whitewater playboat and surf kayak too

Thanks for that I'll investigate.
I have found a supplier of assorted foam which looks like it could be useful for all sorts of outfitting applications...

Hello

Your new boat sounds exciting. I never got on with a surf kayak, my bum was to big and my legs didnt bend much!

If you want new foam, Up and Under in Cardiff do it and also do mailorder!

They also sell a good range of kayak footrests... maybe check out the Canoe Polo Zone Badger footrests. The only issue is they may oxidise when used in saltwater!

Hope you get the boat sorted and are soon catching waves!

Best Wishes
