2018/19 Shorty Cag

Post by RJRM »

I have a Kokatat Radius dry suit which means I have a long-sleeve dry top at my disposal. I’m interested in getting a short sleeved dry/semi dry cag and looking for some advice.

There’s the Sweet Protection Sabrosa (good deal at the moment with Up and Under) but it’s still expensive, though ‘dry’.

The other options are all semi-dry (I think): Peak UK, Palm, and IR. I have under layers from Peak UK, throw bags and straps from Palm, and all kinds of clothing from IR. I’ve not had a problem with any of it so see no need to rule anything out.

I appreciate there’s lots of historic threads on this sort of thing but I’m looking for current options (no Bomber Gear, for instance).

If a more experienced paddler could give me some advice, considering I paddle in Scotland or Easten Canada and considering I have the dry suit, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks for reading.
