Tight seals

Post by Demondave » Sun Jul 15, 2018 11:27 am

I have just treated myself to a cag (Yak tomahawk) and have found the neck seal to be particularly tight.
I’ve tried ‘stretching’ it using a cookie jar that is slightly larger than the circumference of my neck which seems to have made it a bit more bearable however it is still rather tight.
I’ve read somewhere that some people trim the seal down. Is this a good idea?

Any other ideas welcome.

Trimming the neck sea works, just do it a small bit as a time with a good sharp pair of scissors. The seal will stretch a bit over time.
